Ousmane Dembele was forced off with an injury in the first half of Barcelona's game at Getafe.
The attacker pulled up with what appeared to be a hamstring injury and received treatement on the field.
However, the 20-year-old could not continue and was replaced, just 24 minutes into his first start in La Liga, by Gerard Deulofeu.
Dembele featured for 70 minutes in the 3-0 win over Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday, days after coming off the bench to get an assist in the victory against Espanyol.
Shortly after his substitution on Saturday, Getafe opened the scoring through a Gaku Shibasaki volley.
