10 Characters From 'Game of Thrones' You've Forgotten

Some characters come on screen not really to stay for a long time but make unforgettable moments, while others, of course spend a long time without making anything remarkable.

Below are the top 10 characters I believe you must've forgotten - while occupied with the latest characters. I had to watch the whole series from season 1 to 7 just to recall names and faces of some minor-major (If I must say) characters.

10.  Viserys Targeryen
(Portrayed by Harry Llyod).

I, personally hated the character but loved the actor.
He never stops talking, too proud of himself, kept yapping about the iron throne, about his crown, about his father, and of course about being the dragon (which he isn't).
But we shouldn't forget that he was kind of the reason Daenerys is what she is now - in the series.
He made her more hardhearted, more fierce, more powerful, (if I must say) he was really a major character before he was murdered by Khal drogo.

9. Irri
(Portrayed By Amrita Acharia)

Wow, just wow, she was a very humble handmaiden, I loved her character as well as the actress that portrayed it. Irri was a handmaiden to Daenerys in season 1 and taught her the language and culture if Dothraki. She was murdered in Qarth in season 2.

8. Edmure Tully
(Portrayed By Tobias Menzies)

One hell of a man he was. He first appeared in the third season of the series - where he was trying to perform a Nordic Viking funeral (burn a dead body that is on a floating boat by shooting flaming arrow(s) ) - which he missed.
He was last seen in episode 3 of season 3, after he was married to one of Walder Frey's daughter (a marriage he never wished for, but seem he might enjoy).
Soon after his departure, in the red wedding, where Robb, Talisa, and Catelyn Stark were murdered.

7. Renly Baratheon
(Portrayed By Gethin Anthony)

A fine gentleman he was. Killed by his brother's ignorance and greed, let me refresh your memory, he was murdered beside Brienne of Tarth by a "shadow with the face of Stannis" like Brienne kept saying. The so-called "shadow" was a product of Stannis and the red-haired priestess (Melissandre).

6. Ros
(Portrayed By Esmé Bianco)

She was the sex worker that left Winterfell for King's landing due to reduction in men population (like she said). Going to a greener land - she thought, only to meet her doom. After being tortured emotionally by Lord Petyr Baelish (Littlefinger) in his brothel, she was murdered by King Joeffrey.

5. Rodrik Cassel
(Portrayed By Ron Donachie)

He may be gone - I know but his braided beard will forever be in my memory (I need to get my beard braided too).
He was a noble man he fought bravely for House stark and for the north. He was beheaded by Theon Greyjoy, when he took winterfell.

4. Syrio Forel
(Portrayed By Milto Yerolemou)

Arya Stark ended season 5 with a badass act, after she killed Ser Meryn Trant - against the wishes of the many faced God.
Ser Meryn Trant was the first name of Arya's kill list, since she blamer him for the murder of her "dance instructor" Syrio Forel.
Unfortunately, he was killed in the first season of the series - he had a very short air time.

3. Mordane
(Portrayed By Susan Brown)

Mordane was the septa of Winterfell who took care of Arya and Sansa Stark in King's Landing during season 1. While I didn't always like the lessons septa Moradane taught the girls, she died protecting Sansa after Ned was arrested.

2. Maester Luwin
(Portrayed By Donald Sumpter)

Another devoted person to House stark was Maester Luwin, who took care of the Stark Boys, Bran and Rickon, in Winterfell after their parents left the North. While Theon didn't kill Luwin like he killed Rodrik, Theon's right-hand man, Dagmer betrayed Theon and killed Luwin. But at least Luwin knew Bran and Rickon were still alive before his death, after he made Osha (another character we've forgotten) promise to take care of them.

1. Jory Cassel
(Portrayed By Jamie Sives)

He was Rodrik's nephew, he was captain of Ned's household guard. He was killed in King's Landing by Jaime Lannister, he was stabbed in the eye while protecting Ned stark.

I hope I just refreshed your memory. Don't forget to share with your friends.

Game of Thrones season 8 is expected to air in 2019
